Program Description

Practical nurses care for the sick and injured under the direction of physicians and registered nurses. The Practical Nurse Diploma program at Antigua College International can help prepare you with the knowledge and skills you need to enter this rewarding career. Graduates are eligible to have their names submitted to the Florida Board of Nursing to be considered as a candidate for the NCLEX-PN licensure exam.

Graduates of the Practical Nurse program can be prepared for careers in a variety of medical settings, including:

    • Long-term care facilities
    • Home health agencies
    • Physicians’ offices
    • Hospices
    • Hospitals

 

This program is designed to prepare students for employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The school is licensed by the Florida State Board of Nursing.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

      • Submit proof of high school graduation or GED
      • Visit the campus for an admission interview
      • Submit a copy of photo identification card (ID)
      • Submit a copy of social security card
      • Pay the registration fee
      • Attend Orientation
      • Complete all appropriate documents (i.e., admission application, enrollment agreement, etc.)
